Master’s thesis from the SQTE project honoured with award

In the context of the SQTE project a master’s thesis was honoured with a science award of Arbeiterkammer Salzburg ausgezeichnet.

Dominik Harnisch’s master’s thesis which he submitted in September 2020 in the framwork of the SQTE Project, was honoured with the AK Science Award. Under the title ‘The Relentless Pursuit of Excellence’: A Qualitative Perspective on Indicators of Growth Mindset in the London Effect the project’s assistant analysed in what way indicators for a growth mindset were expressed in interviews that were conducted in the framework of the project.

In doing so Harnisch, under supervision of Dr. Maria Tulis-Oswald and Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Roland Bernhard, successfully linked the scientific disciplines of Psychology and School Improvement with each other. Now the Arbeiterkammer Salzburg (official representation of employees) awared Harnisch’s work the Science Award in category 4 Starting Life with Equal Opportunities.
